Grafo is a water activated press-side drier additive. It is most effective in inks with traditional dryers. This is because Grafo creates oxygen in its reaction with your fountain solution and ink emulsion. This oxygen created within the ink film enhances the traditional dryers from within the ink. In other words, the ink is drying from the center as well as from the top down and bottom up. Grafo will not be effective in rubber based inks. Grafo is particularly effective on non-absorbent papers, boards and litho grade plastics. Grafo will remain effective in the presence of highly acidic fountain solutions that can retard other dryers. It will not affect the printed ink color.
