History of BHPI Corporation

In 1985 Gary Garrison, Frank Hoffman and Mike Garrison began to develop the business plan for what would become Blue Hills Printing Ink and Litho Supply Corp. (BHPI). The original location was in Northwestern Wisconsin in an area known as the "Blue Hills" of Wisconsin. BHPI incorporated in March of 1986, officially beginning operations in June of that year.

This management team brought both extensive printing production experience and ink manufacturing expertise to BHPI. This strong background coupled with a desire to provide the best possible customer service available has proven to be a winning combination.

Through the loyal support of satisfied customers BHPI has continued to grow into a strong regional ink manufacturer and supplier of printing products.

Tragically, Frank Hoffman died in an automobile accident in 1987. Frank helped create a solid foundation for BHPI with his eternal optimism and true dedication to his customers and this great industry. Frank will always be remembered as a true optimist who was dedicated to his friends, family and customers. His philosophy and spirit lives on within Blue Hills and those who were lucky enough to call him a friend.

Products and Markets - BHPI is a manufacturer of quality color and black inks for the web and sheetfed printing market. Our host of printing supplies and equipment is extensive as demonstrated within our catalog. BHPI services a five state region including Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and the UP of Michigan.

Manufacturing Plant and Warehouse - All inks are manufactured, stocked and shipped from our Wisconsin Dells facility. Supplies are warehoused and shipped from the same location in beautiful South Central Wisconsin.
